It tells you the status of the three LEDs on your keyboard for the locks.

It's very irritating when you have a keyboard that doesn't have lights to tell you when your Num, Caps or Scroll locks are on. This is true with many laptops and even some desktop computers. Thus you can often find yourself starting to write something, looking down at the keyboard, and not realizing until it's too late that you've written everything in capitals. This is especially true for passwords. So, in order to prevent this from happening again, they created Shock LED. As you might well be able to work out, Shock LED is an indicator software that will inform you of the LEDs (the lights on the keyboard) for the Num lock, Caps lock and Scroll lock and whether they're active or not.

Shock LED shows the status of each LED in the system tray or on top of the wallpaper. You can tell the program yourself in what physical position you want this information to appear.
